First Biltmore Pictures, LLC History
Founded in 2003, First Biltmore Pictures is a unique blend of creative talent and industry experience that exists to produce high qulaity independently produced film projects. Relative to most independent film producers, First Biltmore Pictures, LLC, presents a number of competitive advantages:
- High quality material in the form of books and screenplays;
- Industry relationships through Jim Katz, Ned Dowd, and Rob Labrecque providing access to distribution channels, agents, completion bond companies, and top tier entertainment attorneys;
- Experienced film producers and executives including Jim Katz, Ned Dowd, and Rob Labrecque; and,
- Low company overhead.
By concentrating on projects with high commercial potential, FBP intends to prduce films that will yield the maximum cash flows to the company and its partners.
To reduce the risks inherent in the industry, First Biltmore Pictures, LLC leverages its signifcant relationships and experience in the motion picture industry to secure early distibution deals with studios for pomotion and distrubtion.

Our Executive Team
W.T. (Rusty) Denman, CEO Rusty is a graduate of the Naval Academy, a former trial lawyer, a former investment banker, and has served on several Congressional committees. Dr. Philip L. Little, CFO Phil is a full Professor of Accountancy and Director of the MBA and Masters of Accountancy programs in the College of Business at Western Carolina University. A Certified Public Accountant (SC), he has twelve years of professional experience as a CPA and as conroller of Hilton Head Plantation Company (Sea Pines Company).
Robert A. Labrecque, COO A graduate of McGill University, Rob has been actively involved in the film and television business for 25 years. He has worked on a dozen television movies and feature films (for example, Cagney & Lacey and Tales from the Crypt), and numerous television movies and feature films (for example, The Jungle Book, Lone Star, and My Dog Skip). He has worked as a production accountant, financial auditor, production supervisor, production manager, associate producer, and line producer.
Ned Dowd, Executive Producer Over the past twenty-five years, Ned has worked as an assistant director on fourteen productions (for example, Dead Ringer, Hoffa, & Popeye), vice-president-production on twenty five projects for Caravan Pictures with Joe Roth and Spyglass Entertainment with Roger Birnbaum (for example, While You Were Sleeping, Metro, Rocket Man, and Rich Man's Wife). Ned has produced or executive produced eleven feature films (for example, State of Grace, Last of the Mohicans, Three Musketeers, Wonder Boys, Shanghai Noon, and Reign of Fire).
